It seems to have gone from: “The courageous stand of Barack Obama” to “What is the face saving compromise that will solve this problem?”

Why does everyone (including the media) still call it a Mosque? It’s a proposed Community Center with a room for Muslim Prayer.

Its only been 9 years. You would think that the large empty space in the middle of New York City would constantly remind people of the events of 9/11 rather than a ‘building of Islamic descent’ two to four blocks away.
Why hasn’t anything been erected yet?
Actually our inability to rebuild is a national disgrace and says a lot about what our country has become.
Then again we did find the ship.
