…I’d whack him upside the head.

You IDIOT! You’ve fathered a child with this girl, you’ve known her for years, she is willing to take you back and you can have a proper relationship with your child. Even her parents who don’t trust you are willing to give let it slide, and what do you do? YOU BLOW IT AGAIN!
I understand you are young and young adults made stupid mistakes but here you had a chance to make things right and you wasted it. Don’t you realize the person who is going to be hurt the most by it is your child Tripp?

This didn’t have to happen, you could have made this work. It wouldn’t have been easy but it would have been worthwhile. Second chances come so rarely in life, there is nothing so frustrating than to see someone waste theirs.

Too bad I’m not his dad, maybe with the right advice he might not have blown it twice, but who knows, maybe his family did give the right advice and he just wouldn’t take it. There is only so much a parent can do.

Well, they’re both young and have their lives ahead of them, may they both do something good with them.

I’m against it.

That’s all.

Andrew Breitbart at Big Government notes a NYT correction that the Mainstream media has ignored:

Let’s go over that again:

* The Times is admitting that there is absolutely no evidence that any epithets were shouted at the Congressman by any member of the Tea Party.
* This correction demonstrates we have finally proven our point to the nation’s most eminent and influential liberal media organ: that Rep. Andre Carson lied when he told the AP that members of the Tea Party hurled the “N-word” 15 times during the March 20 health-care rally that took place at the U.S. Capitol.

That’s great, as far as it goes – a thorough vindication of the Tea Party — but it doesn’t go far enough.

* It’s not enough for the Times to make a correction having let that calumny sit out there unrebuked for weeks and months and then, way after the fact, issue a correction.
* It’s not enough because the Times continues to imply that something racially charged might happened on the steps of the Capitol, when we have shown conclusively, via multiple videos of the moment in question, that nothing of the sort occurred

Not bad for a “conservative propagandist” eh Chuck?

Will the media that attacked Breitbart with glee report this story? Will Cokie Roberts retract? Will George Stephanopoulos who kindly asked Media Matters Eric Boehlert for permission to show Andrew’s videos do so? How about the other papers? How about the NAACP and every commentator who mentioned it as fact during the Sherrod kerfuffle?

Not bloody likely is it?

My latest article at Examiner.com Conservatives in Massachusetts should be grateful not embarrassed by the Tea Party deals with all the tea party has done in the state:

On the night of January 19th flush with victory I asked Former Governor and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney if he and the party would make sure Scott Brown’s victory was a successful revolution (Berlin 1991) as opposed to a short lived failed rebellion (Hungary 1958). The wannabe standard bearer of the GOP answered with vague generalities. Contrast that to Sarah Palin’s direct “cojones” line.

Lucky for the GOP the tea party and its supporters answered for him. People who profess conservatism should be grateful.
